‘Salt’ is the generic name we use to describe any substance produced by the reaction of an acid with a base – a process known as a neutralization reaction.
All these salts share some characteristics: their ionic bonds, their relatively high melting points, and their electrical conductivity when melted or in solution and their crystalline structure as a solid.

Our Salt Grades
Industrial Salt
Industrial Salts are defined as sodium chloride manufactured industrially through extraction
From rock salt or sea water. These salts are then further purified and blended with additives according to the specific application. Industrial salts find usage in application such as chemical processing, water treatment, de-icing, Fishery, agriculture, and oil & gas, among others.
Industrial salts in the chemical industry are largely used for the manufacturing of caustic soda, chlorine, and soda ash.
Industrial salts are widely employed as an economical option for the de-icing of roads, platform, and walkways.

Raw Salt
The raw salt can be marketed as such although generally, washing, crushing and screening are required for different uses and especially to reduce the sulphate salts.
Edible Salt
Salt is necessary for the survival of all living creatures, including humans. Salt is involved in regulating the water content (fluid balance) of the body. Salt flavor is one of the basic tastes. Salt cravings may be caused by trace mineral deficiencies as well as by a deficiency of sodium chloride itself.
